Fighting Hunger In Chester County
Empty Bowls Exton is a dedicated hunger relief organization committed to addressing food insecurity in our community.
Did you know that 50% of food insecure families in Chester County fall through the cracks as they are deemed ineligible for food assistance programs?
Many families (even if they are above the federal poverty line) are often forced to choose between necessities like rent, medical bills, and putting food on the table. At Empty Bowls Exton, we believe that no one should ever be forced to make such tough choices.
We are a group of residents from different backgrounds, uniting to generate awareness about hunger and associated poverty in our county. Inspired by the global Empty Bowls movement that began 25 years ago, members of our talented community contribute their art, services and time for the benefit of local food-related charities.

We invite you to join us at our annual charity event on 10 November 2024 at Exton Hotel & Conference Center. It will bring together artists, individuals and businesses for a common cause - to highlight hunger in our county such that those who are able to give can support those in need.
Your participation can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families struggling with food insecurity.
The proceeds from this charity fundraising event will benefit the West Chester Food Cupboard, to help it continue providing vital assistance to those in need and support ongoing initiatives to make sure no one goes hungry in our communities.

About
West Chester Food Cupboard
The West Chester Food Cupboard is a 100% volunteer run organization serving over 40,000 individuals struggling with food insecurity. Last year, they distributed 1.6 million pounds of food!
Additionally, they provide essential personal care items not covered by federal SNAP benefits and operate entirely with volunteers, maximizing resources for direct assistance.
